Beacon Valley Kitchen
Situated in the heart of the Brecon Beacons and perched on the side of a mountain, this house has stunning views over the Brecon countryside.
This Harrison and Pope kitchen sits bold and confident amongst its surroundings. Here, we worked closely with the customer to create a sociable living space that would open out onto the landscape. It’s always good to have an existing starting point when beginning a kitchen project as it gives inspiration and influence to the finished design. And here the gorgeous artisan tiles set the colour scheme whilst the existing Aga position set the layout. The juxtaposition of the fabulous red island and the original old butchers chopping block illustrates how when old meets new it’s a happy union.
Style board: The main cabinet run is painted in Farrow and Ball’s Charleston Grey and the Island is Picture Gallery Red. The worktops are Indian Black Pearl Granite.
