The Croft at Yarpole
We fell in love with this Border Oak house not just because of the natural light and wide open spaces but also because it lent itself to a generous and well-proportioned kitchen design.
The customer’s remit was threefold: Firstly, having already had a kitchen from us in her previous property she wished to emulate everything she loved about her old kitchen whilst bringing in a fresh approach with new ideas. Next, she wanted to incorporate a family heirloom; her favourite dresser. This we lovingly restored in our workshops and sympathetically bought in line with the new kitchen. And lastly, she wanted the room to be a sociable space that flowed into the adjoining snug room. All of these aspects were well achieved, resulting in a perfect kitchen layout with a style that compliments the proportions and architectural style of the house.
Style board: This customer chose to have their kitchen cabinetry painted in Farrow and Ball’s Old White with their island in the complimentary Stiffkey Blue. The worktops are Ivory Fantasy granite.
