Waterside Barn
The setting for this lovely property focused on the series of wildlife ponds just beyond the doorstep.
The kitchen, a modern and generous space, was designed to accommodate both formal and informal dining, whilst looking out onto the ever changing view. The customer had several existing elements they wanted to bring into the equation; a large painting, feature lighting and some old oak timber from a family heirloom (to be reinstated as a table top). They also wanted us to make a feature island, to be centrally positioned and set to showcase the amazing hanging pendant lights. The overall mood and atmosphere achieved was one of calmness and serenity, whilst offering a sociable and working environment for a busy family.
Style Board: The main kitchen run is in Farrow and Ball’s Cornforth White with the Island painted a subtle shade darker in Worsted. The worktops throughout are a granite called Ivory Fantasy
