St Columba’s House.
With its lofty high ceilings and natural light this impressive Arts and Crafts town house became home to one of our classic kitchens. Such an elegant looking space, with plenty of room to cook, chat and dine. You can easily imagine the room filled with the hubbub of family and friends all pitching in and enjoying themselves.
This is one of our optimum layouts, consisting of the aged old, but all important ‘working triangle’ sink, cooker and fridge. This is where all the culinary kerfuffle happens, so it is usually quite a busy zone. We love having dedicated zones in a kitchen as they nicely dictate the layout, design and purpose of the cabinetry.
Thoughtful design and clever layout is at the heart of every H&P kitchen.
Style Board: The kitchen cabinets are painted in Little Greene’s True Taupe and the granite worktops are Ivory Fantasy. The Island cabinet is painted in Farrow and Ball’s luscious Inchyra Blue with the 40mm worktops made from the usual wide planked oiled oak. The handles are solid brass with an antiqued burnished finish
